Commissions

I have the right to reject your commission request for any reason. I am not obligated to explain why I have rejected your commission, nor will I tolerate any disrespect because of it.

For video editing commissions, I accept 5 hours of footage maximum per commission. To begin the commission, a deposit of $15 per hour of footage will be sent via PayPal invoice; this is for the clipping phase of my workflow. I will begin your commission after payment for this deposit is received. If you require further editing services beyond clipping (effects, subtitles, etc.), I will send you a time sheet documenting how many hours I work on editing your footage along with another invoice for $15 per hour worked after I am finished. After payment for the second invoice is received, I will deliver the fully edited video to you via Google Drive.

You will be sent watermarked WIPs of your commission during the editing process, and only after the final payment is received will you be delivered the final product without the watermark. I will not make any changes to the product once the final product is delivered. 30 days after the final product is delivered (unless otherwise specified), I will delete your footage from my Google Drive as I will need the space for future projects.

Please note that there will be no refund for the clipping phase of your commission after it is complete, under any circumstances. If you need to cancel the commission before then, I will refund for $15 per hour of footage I did not clip.

Turnaround time can range from a few weeks to a few months, depending on my queue and my own personal life. While I don't mind occasional check-ins, please don't spam me for updates. If you need your commission finished by a specific date, please include this in "Additional Notes" section of the Google form. If I'm unable to meet this request, we can try to negotiate a more feasible date, or I may possibly reject your commission altogether.

Although you have commissioned me, the rights to my work are still mine. I post commissions on my Twitter, Trello, and Carrd pages, but let me know if you would like for me to delay my post due to an upcoming event (debut, reveal, etc.). You may also post your commission wherever you would like, but include credit to me. Do not crop out any signatures or watermarks; do not claim my work as your own. You are not permitted to tokenize my work, convert it to NFTs, or use it for AI generating purposes.

If I cannot finish your commission for any reason, I will issue a refund. The amount refunded will depend on the progress of the commission (see the label chart below). Please do not open a dispute with PayPal before speaking with me first. I promise to work with you, and it will ultimately be easier than dealing with PayPal (for both of us).
